What the Dickens?

John Huston 'is' Charles Dickens in this one-man performance / reading of the beloved classic "A Christmas Carol." You will hear the wonderful story, plus some inside insights from the author himself, as he recounts the story behind the story. The MadriGALS will be offering a number of period pieces to accompany the great author. A unique experience, perfect for the season! Advent is the four Sundays leading up to Christmas as we prepare for the arrival of the babe who lay in a manager and came to change the world. Cadence Holiday Concert

Death Cafe

Ok, we know that sounds grim. But, death is something everyone faces eventually; yet most all of us are afraid to talk about it (and if we do, it's with hushed whispers). We Remember.

At 10:30 on Sunday we will be marking the 100th anniversary of the Armistice of WWI, and honouring those who have fought and sacrificed in many wars since. Also, at Sunset on Sunday (about 4:45), we will be joining thousands of churches across the country marking the anniversary by the solemn ringing of our church bell 100 times.
