Epiphany

This is the season of Light -- when the Magi (like us) recognize Jesus as the "Light of the World." And, not surprisingly, it corresponds (at least for us in the Northern hemisphere) with lengthening days. On Sundays, we'll be reflecting on how we can be light in the world and conduits of God's light in a time when, even though the days get longer, there are so many deepening shadows around us. Sundays at 10:30. #sermon #Sermon

Burn's Lunch

In honour of the immortal bard of Scotland, we'll be marking Robbie Burns' anniversary with a wonderful home-made meal with all the fixings. Haggis is optional if you're not adventurous! Entertainment includes a Piper and Highland Dancing. Special Guest Malcolm Sinclair will address the Haggis and offer some poetry from the Bard's pen. Saturday, January 19th at Noon. Tickets in advance only by calling the church office: 416-261-4222. $25. #Event #event
