All Saints Day is a traditionally a day when we celebrate the Saints of the Church -- those persons who have built the church through their dedication, faith, and strength. In the United Church, we normally don't spend a lot of time thinking about saints, but perhaps we could. Not the saints of history of distant lands, but the saints who have been important in our lives, in our journey of faith.
This Sunday, October 30, we'll pause to celebrate and give thanks for the Saints who have graced us with their presence, but are no longer with us.
