A quiet time of meditation especially for those struggling with loss, grief, or sadness at this time of year.
Many people find Christmas a difficult time . Loss, grief, depression, and loneliness often are felt more keenly at this time; and, the endless rounds of 'good cheer' can really get under your skin. The longest night of the year is a perfect time to take a moment to pause amid all the hubbub of the season, to reflect and share our own burdens of darkness. The dawn will come, and the days will begin to grow longer and brighter; but for now we can pause, acknowledge, and lament our brokenness.
