Music Director

Position Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative candidate to continue developing and challenging our talented SATB choir and maintaining excellence in the contribution of music to our worship and to our presence in the community.  We enjoy all types of hymnody, as well as other musical styles and are open to exploring new expressions offered by the applicant.

Responsibilities

The position is on average 12 hours per week, with a regular Sunday worship service at 10:30 am and Thursday evening rehearsals.

St. Paul's has a two-manual Johannus organ (model 520), and a grand piano in the sanctuary; in addition, there are three other pianos in the church.  The appointee will liaise with the minister and members of the Church Board responsible for Personnel and for Worship as time and need suggest.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be according to the RCCO guidelines. Duties to commence the last week of August 2021, or by mutual agreement.
