10:30 on Sunday mornings

Worship in Viral Times

Whether you’ve been to church every Sunday since you were born, it’s been years since you ventured inside a church, or this is your very first time in church, you are very, very welcome at St. Paul’s. We hope you’ll find it a welcoming place to explore your faith and find a community of friends.

Often the hardest part of going to church is making the decision to actually go inside. If you’re unfamiliar with what happens, don’t worry; that’s ok! Like most everything else you’ve ever done, the first time might seem a little strange or awkward. But, like the first time you learned to ride a bike, friends are here to make it easier and help you along the way.

Here are a few tips to help you:

What happens on Sunday Morning?
How will I know what to do?
I don't know how to pray, is that ok?
I don't like being preached at and being told how to live my life!  So why should I come to church?
I'm not sure I believe in God. Can I still come to St. Paul's?
Do I have to sing?
What about the collection?
I'm spiritual but not religious, is St. Paul's for me?
Am I going to be centred out?
What do  I wear?
What about Communion?
What about children during worship?

During these unprecedented times when we're physically distancing to ensure each others' safety and well-being, the church building is closed. But, we the people are the church (no the bricks and mortar at 200 McIntosh!), and so we continue to be church.

Rev. Dan posts virtual worship under the page "Worship in Viral Times" and you can participate at your own convenience.  the blog is updated on Saturday mornings, and you can visit (and revisit) it when you wish.

Come, let us worship God!  Whether in person, online, or in the solitude of our mindfulness, God is with us, we are not alone; thanks be to God.
