Advent begins this week as we make our way to the darkest night of the year and the brightest day. Christmas is coming quickly. And most of us want to rush toward Christmas! Lights and decorations are going up quickly, the stores have had Xmas Muzak playing for weeks (it seems like months!). And I can see Christmas trees up in neighbours' houses already. What's the rush?? What if we paused and waited a little bit, what more might we see? Sometimes it's the destination, sometimes it's the journey. Usually, it's both; but neither gets well served if we can't wait.
