Were you ever in a Christmas Pageant? Did you always long to be in one? Here's your chance!! Our not-so-traditional-tradition is the DIY Christmas Pageant. We tell the nativity story as found in the Gospel of Luke, and at each stage of the story, people are invited to be part of it: Mary, Joseph, the Innkeeper, the Shepherds (and the Sheep), and the Magi and more. There's a part for everyone (last year we had almost a dozen Marys!). It's fun and it's special because you're not just listening or watching the story of God's inbreaking into the world -- you're a part of it! And that is the truth about Christmas.
